Greetings 9th Grade Science teachers,
	
	This is a follow-up to an announcement you may have already 
received.  You are invited to an exciting workshop taking place on 
November 7th.  The focus is integrating technology into the 9th 
grade science curriculum and support with planning within an Earth 
Science unit.  The workshop will be given at CIPD by three SFUSD 
teachers, a seismologist from UC Berkeley, and a teacher on
special assignment to the UC Museum of Paleontology.

	If you attended the ISTAT workshop last year, this will be 
a very different experience, but just as much fun.  We will be 
giving away free goodies again this year (ask those who went last 
year).  If you plan on coming we suggest you bring your syllabus 
or course outline if you have one.  Also, bring a write-up of your 
favorite Earth Science activity to share with the group.
