Workshops
As part of the effort to disseminate information about the ISTAT Earth Science Project, we worked with the SFUSD to hold two professional development workshops for 9th grade science teachers:
- Nov 17, 1999
- This workshop focused in part on providing some Earth science background and content and in part on exposing the teachers to lessons and activities to support the new Science Probe textbook. 19 teachers attended this workshop.
- Nov 7, 2000
- This workshop was designed to help teachers plan and organize an Earth science curriculum. It drew extensively from the ISTAT Earth Science Web pages. 10 teachers attended this workshop.
