Write 1-3 sentences that summarize the entire article.
The sentences should be succinct, providing an overview
of what the article is about.

Write down the main ideas presented in the article.
This should be in the form of a graphic organizer,
outline, or other note-taking format. Remember to
abbreviate!

As you read the article identify 6-10 scientific
terms that are directly related to the topic.
List these terms and their definitions.

Write one relevant question that the article did not
answer. This should be something that
you wondered about or something that
